Thanks for the encouragement! So far so good on working out, but eating right has meant a lot of preparing and planning what to eat the day before. With a two-month old I don't have much time for food prep when meal time comes around. Still, I'm glad to have made some time for myself each day to workout and get rid of some of the stress of being a new mom! Congratulations to you on your renewed commitment and for making yourself a priority!

Way to get back on track! I've read that it takes 21 days to form a new habit or break an old habit, so I've commited to my workout routine for 21 days. After that I will do it another 21 days and by that point it should be second nature, right? I'm sure your roses will be beautiful and I've found planting and growing things in a garden to be great for the spirit and body!

i've been really congested lately. i don't know why...and in the middle of summer! it's hard to stay motivated but it does take time and practice. it's a whole mentally change as well. i really believe you gotta keep believing in yourself and surround yourself with like-minded people. my boyfriend and i gained a lot of weight TOGETHER! now we, and a lot of other friends, go to the gym.

Hey there! I'm back now :) We had a stressful start to the month when my baby girl stopped breathing while I was home with her in the morning. She was in the hospital for 4 days and underwent a lot of testing and we are just starting to get back to normal. It turns outs he has severe reflux and now sleeps with a monitor and on a wedge pillow in a sling. She is doing SO much better and is such a trooper. Anyway, that's why I've not been logging my workouts. I got in a few, but just didn't log them. Things are finally back to normal and I'm back on the sweat train. Thanks for checking up on me :)

Great job working out this week!!! Keep it up! Maria is doing SO much better now that she is on the right medication and is sleeping upright in this sling/wedge pillow combination. She is eating much better now too and sleeping through the night- yippee! I'm also doing much better now that we know what is going on with her and we have a monitor sensing her breating at night. Peace of mind does wonders for a person and I now totally understand just how much stress can take its toll on an individual. Her smile melts my heart though and fortunately she is a very smiley, content little baby.

Hi there! I was just noticing how kind and motivational you are to everyone on this site... a real "mom" figure:) Just reading your comments to others has even helped motivate me, thank you for that! (strange, I know)
I hope you can find time to get to the gym. Think about how wonderful it feels afterwards! Everyone feels wonderful hopping out of the shower after a great workout!
If it helps, I've read that it takes 21 consecutive days before something becomes a habbit. Make your health a habbit!:) It's the most important thing. Good luck! Hope to see a checkmark soon, I'll try to keep up with yours :)
