Yeah, I'm totally with you on that. I haven't been concerned with my weight, but I'm trying to shed a few pounds, and I had to weigh in at 170 two weeks in a row, even though I've been losing about a pound a week. We really appreciate your suggestions, keep 'em comin'!

Thank you, I am pretty much doing that now. i started working out in feb this year and started eating healthier as well. I have lost 53 pounds so far. I haven't lost any more weight in about 5 weeks and I am doing the same thing I have been doing, so I am getting a little worried. And I don't want to gain it back.

I don't think the microwave does all that much harm to frozen processed foods (like the lean cuisines) ... I bet all the nutrition is sucked out of it long before it hits the zapper!

Thanks Josh for keeping me on track =)

I'm actually doing really well with my diet, cutting down to about 1900 calories a day. I've already lost about 2lbs (and I'm being careful to measure it accurately). Still on track to lose 10 by xmas.

Thansk for encouraging me Josh! There have been a few times that I just didn't make it online to log workouts, but all in all it has been hard going this month. Forunately I found out my baby things it's hysterical to watch her mommy jump up and down and do all kinds of cardio. So, we can spend time together and still get in our workouts. Great job keeping up on your workouts. We can do this!

i'm trying! i am a full time student, and it seems that exercise is always the first thing to go ... but I've noticed that if I take the 45 minutes to get over to the gym, I feel better and am more productive. but it's hard with finals only 5 weeks away ... thanks for the support. That really helps.

Can you give me any tips on working out. I started going to the gym a year ago, but i stopped for a while b/c i moved and could not get another gym membership, so i gained all the weight back, plus 5 lbs. I am happy with pretty much everything on my body except my stomach. I am starting to make a journal of my work outs. I like doing cardio the most, weights are boring to me and I cant seem to concentrate on them.....

Hi, I was reading some of your posts and one was addressing microwave and veggies. I have been told by doctors/nutrition experts that microwaving veggies makes no difference to boiling. The other thing I have been told is that frozen Veggies are better than canned because the freezer preserves the nutrients. Keep up the good work man! :-)

This site is incredible... everyone's site that I run across is so impressive! You are too, one of the more motivational people on here, and thank you for that:) I know it doesn't make sense me saying that, but just seeing how hard everyone is working helps.
I'm on a mission to get back to my weight from 3 years ago. Just over 15 pounds to lose (it was 20 back in September, but I lost my motivation to go to the gym in October. Not sure why..)
One thing I'm struggling with is TIME! I wish that grew on trees. If we didn't have to sleep I'd be fine. I can't get up early in the morning.. Do you have a certain time that you go to the gym or anything? Any habbit that helps?

Hey Josh! Get this - Sam got home from his business trip last week and wants to work out and eat healthy! I am so excited. So - I made us a workout thing on here so he can do the check marks and get excited about this site! It's definitely not as hard as what I was doing - but I'm thinking that if I workout with him he'll keep his motivation - so I'll sacrifice a little bit for that. Finally! He's working out with me!

Back again...as it seems I've had to choose between time online and time studying (yep, going back for my masters). Still, although I've not been login in workouts I have kept them up and I'm down 10 lbs since when I started on here. Thanks for keeping me in mind and accountable. the next goal is 10 more lbs. It'll be tough during holiday season, but this is great support!

Are you still on here Josh? I decided to give the website a second chance - mostly because I failed to workout the past couple months while we were remodeling our house and have gained the 15 lbs I lost back...so yeah. Just seeing if you were still here! Hope you are and that you're doing well and stayed on track - you were doing great!

That's great! I just joined the YMCA here - and so far have really enjoyed using the machines and what not. It's nice not being in the heat - that's for sure. I haven't gotten brave enough yet to check out their classes - maybe in a couple weeks. I know - it's hard to find time - that's my problem definitely - and I've got the extra weight to prove it. Boo! Anyhow - see you around!

Thanks for the advice. I am doing cardio 6 times a week and was told I can only to weight training every other day (which that is what I am doing). I have been doing this for 3 weeks now and have not lost any weight at all. My clothes still fit the same so I know I haven't lost any inches either. I don't know what I am doing wrong!!!! eeerrrr. Any way, sorry about that.. I am enlisting into the ARMY.

Hey Josh, long time.

Some of the plans are having issues lately, I would try selecting a new plan or creating a new one from scratch (and maybe run through all the workouts quickly to make sure it doesn't go haywire).
