Hey, I think for this week I'm going to profile a user in the e-mail, and I'd really like to use your profile. You log lots of workouts and are active in the community, and I think you could be a real inspiration to the other members of the FitCommunity. I'd love to have your permission to link to your locker and quote your resolution in this week's e-mail.

Keep up the pace. You're doing great. I hope you find a workout that is easier on your heel. It sucks looking forward to pain when you workout. It is suppose to be fun. But you do it anyway. You're an inspiration. I hope your husband is doing better.

Thanks for keeping my motivated! What I'm learning with babies is if it's not one thing it's another. I had a great start working out in the morning this week and then lost a couple of days when the little one was up all night with an ear infection. BUT I gotta stay strong and healthy so I can help her stay strong and healthy. My plan is to workout after work tonight. Check and see if I do :) I need the extra accountability until it becomes a habit again

Hi! Thanks for the info. So far, I am really enjoying being a member of the site. The only problem that I have is that I can't figure out how to log workouts on a previous day! I go to the gym in the evenings after work, but I usually don't get a chance to get back on here until the next day. I have one other workout that I have completed, but didn't get to put it on my log....the one that I have for today, I won't actually do until this evening! Anyway......I have rambled enough. Thanks for the advice and the support....I am sure that I will be needing more help! This is all new to me and I feel like a foreigner in my gym, so any and all advice is greatly appreciated. I am doing this not only to lose weight & get healthy, but I was told by the doc a couple of months ago that I am losing muscle mass in my quads and was ordered to ride the bike at least 30 minutes a day!

Not too bad. It was raining this morning. I could not do much. The only thing I could really do this morning was 75 jumping jacks. That was ok. I was little sore afterwords but feeling ok.

Do you have any secrets for the weekends? I do so good with my eating Monday - Friday at work, but I tend to do so much damage over the weekend that I almost give up by the time Monday roles back around! I am horrible at not eating all day long and then having this huge meal where I eat like some kid that has been locked in a closet for days without food or water.

Thanks, MRumer. I thought a new "do" would be a great pick-me-up and an extra boost to motivate me to keep making time for myself. It's easy to manage and cuts down on prep time in the morning, thus leaving me that extra time to workout before my little one wakes up.
Keep up the great workouts! You've done awesome this month!

So I fixed the calendar, should have all your (and everyone else's) workouts displayed correctly now. Let me know if you see any other bugs, broken links, etc and I'll fix them as fast as I can. Though this weekend is my engagement party so I probably won't get to it until Monday!

Doing good. I just started a gym membership. And have been trying to develop a plan for that. That sucks a little cause I now have to get up around 45 minutes earlier. I am still at 200 pounds but my pants fit better all of the time. I had someone at church tell me I should stop losing weight. That was a kicker for me. I actually wear shirts tucked in now. You look nice.
How is your husband? Is he still interested in working out with you? Hope you are still motivated.

I started adding about 10 more min on the treadmill just to see if anything! But i have noticed that my clothes fit a little better and that my hips are a little bit smaller :)

I work out all the time..but my food habits are really bad. I eat really well during the day but I tend to snack at night and II think thats where I reverse all the working out... I am trying not to eat anything past 6... so I hope that helps, hopefully I can maintain that

No... well, yes, but I am working out, I'm just having a bug that's all my own. It's very special, no one else seems to be having any problems, which is good. Hopefully we can figure out what it is so it doesn't sneak up on anyone else.

Hey! Your resolution sounds exactly like how I feel.. I miss my skinny jeans! I almost agreed to give them to my friend, but I'm glad I kept them. They're my motivation now! How are you doing with your goal? I have 15 pounds to lose, and it's the hardest 15 pounds of my life! How to you avoid the excuses to not go to the gym? Having a significant other with an incredibly fast metabolism doesn't help. He can eat for days and not gain a pound. Very frustrating... Plus, they always say you look great, regardless of how much you put on!

Hi Meghan! Thanks for introducing yourself...I'm glad you share my enthusiasm for the bleachers (Ps...thank you for teaching me how to spell them, ha ha) Anyway, There are so many variations you can add and do with them. To me if you do it whole heartedly it really is a workout in and of itself. We even carry weights up and down them. Talk about hard! I also have the luxury of a track and nature trail. Since I love to be outdoors I add as much as I can of other outdoor things. Thanks for talking to Joseph about adding them. I also wish I could see rollerblading too. I'm very fortunate to have made friends with a total hunk who meets with me 3 times a week to do all this. I call him "coach" and he pushes me and dosesn't let me get away with anything. Actually nowadays he has been calling me coach too! It seems I may be sort of leaving him in the dust do to the boundless energy I've gained. Anyway, Hope your next workout is a great one! ; )

I have been losing interest in this site for the last few weeks. The owners do not show any interest that I can tell. Thankfully it has not changed my interest in exercise. If I find a good site or something I will let you know. I did have a good Holiday season. God has definatley blessed me this year.

I actually just logged in here a couple of days ago. That was the first time since I left. I looks like people are actually exercising anyway. I have been working out once or twice a week now. It is hard to find time with a full time job, school half time and a family. I have logged a few workouts but I am not using the workouts they have on here. The YMCA I go to has new program called Body Pump that I have been going to. It is much more challenging than anything I have been doing so far.

What a rebound. Keep up the good work. It shouldn't take you long to get back into shape. At least you only took a couple of months off and not a couple of years. I am really excited my wife is started to exercise, although she tells me she doesn't like the YMCA. We will be getting her a membership at Lifetime Fitness in August. Hope you still like running too. I still do. Which is amazing since I used to hate it.
