I'm not a rookie... I used to go to the gym every day for 2 years, but this was also 2 years ago. I've let myself slip and I'm disappointed in myself, which isn't helping to find motivation to go. I'm headed there in 30 minutes. I have my gym stuff all packed up, no excuses. Let's hope I can get back into the swing of things...

Hey... I am at school as well and it's hard not to eat junk food because that is the easiest thing. You can try steamed vegetables(the new steam zip-lock bags work well) You can also try a verity of salads..instead of putting dressing on them you can cut up a piece of chicken and add some low cal cottage cheese... Sandwiches are always easy to make!!

Hey your gym question is basically logging a work out. You do not have to do it at the gym. I did not go to gym all summer and only started going to the gym for two weeks and yet I worked out 5 days a week.
Hope working out for you becomes fun.

I am so busy. Unless I go with my wife the only time I have to go is early in the morning before work. If you are trying to lose fat, I found that is the best time. Before breakfast. It worked for me. I lost 20 pounds that way.
Hope you find a time that works for you.

I don't work out at the gym, but I did buy a very expensive house that is in a historic district with a beautiful park - so that's my motivation to get out and run. It's right outside my front door so I might as well use it. Also, the thought that I will never fit into those skinny jeans if I don't go is pretty good motivation. The weight doesn't come off by itself! And, I like the check marks on the calendar - it's silly but it makes me happy. (You kinda caught me on a bad week though - I need a break from all the working out - but the way I look at - I can either take a purposeful break and start up again next week - or just let the workouts slide and never get back in the habit...) Anyhow - Good luck on those 15 lbs - I've got about 20 more - so we're in the same boat. Just keep up the cardio and eating relatively well (plus weights don't hurt) and eventually the weight will just slide off. Have a great day!

Yep. Just click on 'log a workout' like you normally do, and then look at the bottom left of the panel. You should see a bunch of scroll-down menus that have the month, date and year. Just set those to the day that you worked out, and log the workout. You're good to go! It's great to see you using the site. I hope you are starting to see some results.

Thank you so much.... Yes I am very interested in the other website. I just officially want to go down to my goal weight and stay there. I am not big at all, but I would like my hips to go down a little..

Hey nels! I'm back this week and dying to workout. The break really helped and surprisingly I didn't gain any weight - which was nice... Anyhow! Have a great week! Stay in touch! LBMB!

Good to be back! I got lazy for a while, not that I stopped going but I stopped checking. Now I've been 6 times in the past 7 days. Still going strong
